Spring Break in Repose

Over Spring break I learned:

1. After visiting five temples, we learned that our youngest thinks the Angel Moroni is "a guy shooting birds."

2. My oldest desperately wants cousins and shamelessly tries to set up my 24-year-old brother with any breathing female at the pool. She has told him repeatedly that he needs to tell a woman the following, "My niece wants cousins....how about it?" She doesn't understand why he is opposed to this....

3. My husband is shameless....actually, I already knew that.

4. I need to lose weight because I don't think my neck is supposed to overlap my jaw in pictures...and no, I am not posting any pics of this....I have a little pride left.

5. Sassy doesn't travel well....this is how it was after 30 minutes in the car....What joy!

How was your spring break? Learn anything new? Please share...

Wow! That last photo makes me sorry that I missed out on your excursion! :o)

Anyway, I am sure that Moroni shot a few birds (with arrows) to sustain himself in the wilderness.

It looks like Doughie, Sassie, baby brother and Big C all enjoyed the dinosaur museum a lot! I still think that we should be graced with a photo of you, though. :oD))

JK. I just saw you 2 days ago. I don't believe that it is as bad as all that. I simply believe that cameras are the devil's creation and don't make anyone look good!

If Moroni isn't shooting at birds, what IS he shooting at?

What I learned during Spring Break:

DDR, in moderation, can be great fun! DDR, in excess, can be hazardous to your health!

"DDR" could probably be replaced with just about anything and the statement would still hold true!

I'm afraid it's one lesson I'll never fully grasp. You know me - everything in excess! If a little is good, then a lot is better, right?!

Tell Sassy Happy Birthday for me! I hope her presents arrived...?

For me, the best spring breaks are spent at home resting. (Which is what I did). Or spent lying on the beach, but whose got the money for that anymore. Ugh!

We did nothing. Well, Wednesday we went into full 'elect Hunter for secretary mode' since until that day I either had a migraine or we had nothing to work with. We didn't even make cookies. That is sad. Wait, we did have a baptism. That is why we didn't go anywhere...

Jay's spring break was more work, he didn't even get to watch list of DVD's before he had to hit the books again this week. : (
Tell little missy Happy Birthday too!

I'm glad I'm not the only one that have kids that look like that on trips. I learned that you to be creative if Spring Break isn't during Spring, and that I could never homeschool!

Funny post! Our spring break was boring. We went to the movie one day, and I saw Big C and Sassy in the lobby. I tried to talk to Sassy and she ran into the bathroom. I am pretty sure Big C was thrilled with me!
