The Saga of Baby Alive

More about Sassy's new dolly.....

Well, the other night, I was downstairs when I heard the water being turned on and off at regular intervals--never a good sign. When I came upstairs, I found that Sassy was giving her new doll a bath in the bathroom sink with shaving cream. Not only was the bathroom sink overflowing, but all my accessories on my counter were swimming in a 1/2" of water. When I stepped into the bathroom, I found the floor was soaked too....joy! Sassy looked at me and asked, "Are you going to take a picture?" I told her very quietly...."no" and that she needed to go to her bedroom for a timeout.

After I cleaned up the bathroom, which seemed like a lengthy ordeal, I wrapped the baby doll in a towel and took it to Sassy. I told her sternly "NEVER AGAIN" and then went into the kitchen to start dinner. Sassy followed me with her baby and opened the door to the kitchen garbage. She then proceeded to throw her baby away. I asked her, "What are you doing?" To which she replied, "I'm throwing her away. She gets me in trouble!" Nice.....

Sadly, Baby Alive was taken away by Child Services until Sassy is a more fit mother. Or more exactly, Baby Alive is in my closet until Sassy can prove she will be nicer to my bathroom.

Hopefully Sassy can regain custody soon, it is a shame to see a mother and her dolly separated! You are a nicer Mom than me, I don't let my girls feed their Baby Alive dolls because I don't want to clean up the mess.

Maybe when she is 25 she'll be ready for a doll like this?

Dolls give me the creeps! I guess it could be worse... she could be toting around a Baby Laugh A-Lot!

Yikes! I don't know what was creepier....the laughing doll or the guy laughing in the background. Either way, both laughs sounded insane and psychotic....and you know that doll is going to kill you when you go to bed. You can tell by looking at it! It is dolls like that that kept me awake at night as a kid.

Big C says that is Magic's little sister....a movie that kept him in his parents bed for years.....that and "Silent Scream". We are made for each other. Both weenies when it comes to scary movies.

It's frightening how the girls' heads spin around in that commercial!

I'm gonna have to sleep with the light on tonight! << shudder >>

This is what scared Big C http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ezkx07HYylo

Maybe we could get the laughing doll and Magic together......match made in doll hell.

Stuck in the closet, eh? It is pretty sad when Child Services takes the child away from an abusive parent just to abuse them further. You should be ashamed!

We have had bathroom floods around here...no baby dolls, but did you know if you plug a shower with a nerf football and it soaks up all the water in the shower it will in fact NOT throw farther...it is actually going to flood the basement. In case you were wondering. It also makes moms swear. A lot.
