Sassy came running in to me and said, "Mommy! Mommy! Doughie is killing me! She is killing me!"
Me, "What now?"
Sassy, "She keeps changing the tv to Hannah Montana!"
I have to admit....I found this very amusing. I have to agree with Sassy, Doughie has been "killing me" with her tv selection for quite some time now.

I appreciate Sassy's comment! Hannah Montana is killing me. My girls love her all the sudden. I, however, do not love her!!
I've seen every episode of iCarly and Hannah Montana and Zach and Cody and Wizards of Waveryly Place...you get the picture right...a billion times. I am so sick of it! I am ready to pull the plug on TV.
My children don't watch TV. They spend their days cheerfully helping their mother, making up creative science experiments, reading wholesome books, and finding ways to be of service to their siblings.
On the flipside: While you were out the other day, Sassy turned on the television and began dancing around the living room to some teen pop video. When Roberto couldn't take any more, she struggled with him as he walked over to turn off the television. Eventually, we all came to an agreement that she could watch tv as long as it was Coraline. Of course, it wasn't long until she lost all interest and began taste-testing each of the apples in the fruit dish. xD
Haha! I happened onto your blog and you have so many cute anecdotes. My 20 month old LOVES backyardigans and also enjoys sesame street. They're ok but, I'm sure this will become more complicated when she can start to make her own viewing choices. PS Is Perfectly Imperfect for real? I couldn't tell lif it was a joke. But, if it's true please send me your parenting book. :-)
